Fossil Blue Watches watch suggestions

FB-01- I know you visited this page with aim of reading about Fossil Blue Watches but why are you getting to see FB-01 here?

You won’t be able to find the lineup under the name Fossil Blue Watches. Because a search on their website will only bring up watches with blue tones.

The actual name of the Fossil Blue is FB-01, so you should search for it. Besides, if you search for that. You will find a selection of colorful classic sport/dive watch-inspired items.

Let’s talk about fossils first before getting into the review for FB-01. Fossils are a fountain of creativity in and of themselves. In the building in Richardson, Texas.

There are so many different designs created. So many that, amazingly, people can keep doing it month after month and year after year.

Fossil must produce new products for four seasonal markets in the fashion industry. Now, not every watch they introduce is successful. But, the ones that do have a shelf life.

About

Fossil

Fossil’s products are very much based on fun, fashion, and quality. This encourages impulse and repeats purchases. The various brands that Fossil owns or licenses have different product philosophies.

But the overarching mission is to provide unique products at a reasonable price. After all, when a watch costs approximately $75. How long do you need to think about buying it?

And Fossil does this very well. The Fossil Blue FB-01 comes in a variety of colors, but two immediately caught my eye. Despite having distinct bezels and black dials.

The first is a black/blue split, and the second is a traditional red/blue (also known as Pepsi) bezel. Many watches feature that Pepsi design, which has recently gained quite a bit of traction.

The inclusion of a cyclops on the crystal, among other design features, helps the Fossil stand out. Although I am aware that not everyone will enjoy those, I do.

And what if you’re unsure? Why not give it a shot?

The Fossil Blue FB-01 collection is priced at a very reasonable $125. Keeping things in the familiar Fossil territory of sturdy designs at reasonable prices.

No, that does not show anything negative about the watch. Rather, it is a bit of a play on the darker finish that this Fossil Blue FB-01 loaner came with—the brand refers to it as “Smoke.”

The Fossil Blue FB-01 is as I said very affordable watch that performs well right out of the box. In my view, the “Big Crown” influences the dial design. Particularly the shape of the indices, and the cyclops’ presence contribute to this.

And, I suppose, the bracelet that resembles an Oyster. My initial focus was on the cyclops. The moment I saw the watch. It only strengthened my choice for that kind of crystal modification.

Bezel

The Fossil Blue FB-01’s bezel surprised me unpleasantly and made me feel less pleased. It’s an aluminum insert. I was stopped when I attempted to turn the bezel to check the play and ratcheting.

The bezel remained fixed! I thus contacted the brand. Thinking that I had a pre-production sample or something similar. It turns out that the answer is no; the watch has a fixed bezel.

This is fine if you want the bezel to look like a diver’s countdown bezel, but not otherwise. I understand that price points needed to be met.

Also, the fixed one must be less expensive than the rotating one. But if that’s the case, don’t make it look like a diver’s bezel that rotates.

Bracelet

The Fossil Blue FB-01 bracelet is comfortable once sized to your wrist. It is simple to size. With this particular Smoke finish, I’d be concerned about how well the finish would hold up.

As you might expect from a watch this pricey, the bracelet jingles a little bit as you move it. Yet, considering that this is only a $129 watch, you will be making some trades when you get it.

My favorite part about the Fossil Blue FB-01

I was eager to see how the Fossil Blue FB-01’s cyclops were implemented. By far, the cyclops are my favorite feature of the quartz-driven watch.

It contrasts beautifully with the dial’s matte finish. It is uncommon at this price point. Furthermore, this watch costs only $129, which is about right for the price.

Conclusion for Fossil Blue Watches

Some of my friends told me I am nit-picking when I told them what I felt about this collection. Yes, I am, but I’m not doing my job as a reviewer.

If I don’t point out what I think are flaws or things you might not expect if you’re used to watches costing more than $500. I do not doubt that you will be pleased with the Fossil Blue FB-01.

If you enter it with the expectation that it will cost around $100. Although the 42mm case’s proportions are well-balanced.

The fixed bezel and dial are odd. Having said that, the handset’s lume is quite nice, but it fades very fast.

Now, they would have something on their hands if they made that bezel moveable.
